Pasta Primavera

a few chicken breasts
1/4 white wine
pinch salt
dash pepper
2 cloves pressed garlic
2 shakes of rosemary
a pound of bowtie or interestingly-shaped pasta
parmesean
1 cup milk
2 tbsp flour
fresh broccoli florettes
5 sundried tomatoes chopped finely

marinate chicken in white wine, rosemary, salt, pepper & 2 cloves
garlic for a few hours, then sautee or grill and slice thinly against
the “grain” of the meat

boil the pasta til it tastes like Al Dente–my italian cousin 😉

make a white sauce by putting cold milk in saucepan and stirring in
flour–bring to a slow boil and whisk so it doesn’t stick, burn, or
get lumpy til it thickens (10 mins?) add salt, pepper, & parmesean to taste.

cook the broccoli til it’s tender and bright green

then just toss it all in a bowl: pasta, chicken, broccoli, sundried
tomatoes and sauce! it will make a big hit. it takes a while and
several burners, but the result is really delicious and it will
definitely impress.

some variations:
4 strips of cooked bacon chopped up
1 roasted red pepper chopped finely
sauteed onions, mushrooms & garlic
capers
peas substituted for broccoli

enjoy!
